Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 19 August 2026
Who these terms are between
These terms govern your use of the Loopit apps and the services behind them, provided by Liebsch & Roßkamp GbR, Metzstr. 8, 81667 München ("we", "us"). Full provider details are in our imprint. By creating an account you accept these terms.
What Loopit does
Loopit lets you build routines as repeatable cycles of timed steps, and keeps them in sync across your devices. We may add, change or remove features as the product develops.
Your account
You need an account to use the service, and you must confirm your email address before you can sign in. Give accurate details, keep your password to yourself, and tell us promptly if you believe someone else has access to your account. One person, one account.
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If you are younger, you may only use Loopit with the consent of a parent or guardian.
How you may use the service
You agree not to:
- use the service unlawfully, or to store or distribute unlawful content;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or to other users' data;
- disrupt the service, for example by overloading it or circumventing rate limits;
- reverse engineer, resell or rebrand the service, except where the law allows it regardless of contract.
If you seriously or repeatedly breach these rules we may suspend or terminate your account. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will warn you first.
Your content
The cycles and other content you create remain yours. You grant us only the limited permission needed to run the service for you — storing your content, backing it up and transmitting it to your own devices. We do not use your content for anything else, and we do not use it to train machine learning models.
Availability
We work to keep Loopit available and reliable, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, failures and circumstances outside our control can cause downtime. We may change or discontinue features; if we discontinue the service as a whole, we will give you reasonable notice and an opportunity to export your data.
Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose. Our backups exist to recover the service, not to guarantee any individual item of your content.
Ending the agreement
You may stop using Loopit at any time by deactivating your account in the app. What happens to your data afterwards, and when it is erased, is described on Deleting your account. We may terminate this agreement for good cause, in particular for a serious breach of these terms.
We also close and delete accounts that go unused for 730 days, because we do not keep personal data longer than we need it. You will be emailed 30 days in advance, and signing in again keeps the account.
Liability
We are fully liable for damages caused intentionally or by gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence we are liable only where we breach an obligation that is essential to the purpose of this agreement and on which you may reasonably rely, and in that case only for foreseeable damage typical of this kind of agreement. Liability under the German Product Liability Act is unaffected. Any further liability is excluded.
Changes to these terms
We may amend these terms when the service or the legal situation changes. We will notify you of material changes at least 30 days before they take effect, by email or in the app. If you do not agree, you may terminate your account before the changes take effect; continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept them.
Governing law and disputes
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.
The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are neither obliged nor willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
If part of these terms fails
If any provision of these terms is or becomes invalid, the remaining provisions stay in force.
